A Burnham-On-Sea artist’s work has gone on display in the town this week.
Margaret Micklewright is displaying a selection of her colourful paintings in The Princess Theatre’s arts cafe until 13th July.
“A wide selection of landscape and animal paintings in acrylics and ink is on display that will suit many tastes,” Margaret told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Margaret is a painter and sculptor who also works as a Forest School Leader in a local school. She also runs art workshops for children and adults.
A graduate of Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, her landscape paintings are influenced by her understanding and experience of the effects of weather from her upbringing on the Isle of Arran.
