Fourteen of Burnham-On-Sea’s leading artists opened up their studios to the public at the weekend for a special three-day Christmas exhibition.
Five studios across Burnham were open from Friday until Sunday evening, giving the public a chance to see a wide range of colourful paintings, pottery, craftwork, cards, and photographs.
Among those taking part was Burnham artist Sue Hammond-Lovatt, pictured, who told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This was our second annual Christmas ‘open studios’ event and it gave everyone a chance to see some of the best local artworks. It was a wonderful opportunity to talk about what we do.”
The local artists taking part included Peter Howe at 16 Osborne Walk; Anna Nicolaides, Mary Stradling, Angela Uren, Carole Watson and Sharon Campbell at 19 Rectory Road; Sue and Clive Hammond-Lovatt, Margaret Micklewright and Cora Stock at 112 Berrow Road; Malcolm Dormer, Linda Gee and Anita Pegler at 234 Berrow Road; and Judith Champion at Middle Burnham Farm.
