Armed Forces Day to be marked in Burnham and Highbridge

-

Armed Forces Day will be marked in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge today (Saturday, June 25th) with two ceremonies.

The Town Council is inviting residents to join flag-raising ceremonies in Highbridge, outside the Community Hall, at 9am, and besides Burnham’s Pier Street fountain at 9.30am.

Town clerk Eileen Shaw told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Burnham and Highbridge’s Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr Michael Clarke and Mrs Maria Clarke, will be holding the brief flag-raising ceremonies as a demonstration of support for our Armed Forces.”
