Sixth form students from King Alfred School in Highbridge have taken part in a young apprentice initiative working with Homes In Sedgemoor.
Students attended sessions run by Claire Aplin of Homes In Sedgemoor, herself a former sixth form student, which focussed on employability skills, presentations and interview techniques.
Dawn Lang, Chief Executive of Homes in Sedgemoor, interviewed all the students as part of the process and two students will be taking up placements with the organisation over the summer holidays.
A King Alfred School spokesman said: “We are very grateful to Homes in Sedgemoor for working with our students and we look forward to running the initiative again in September for Year 11 students.”
