Residents have been warned to be extra vigilant when using Highbridge’s Apex Park this week after a man was seen in bushes allegedly performing a lewd act.
The incident took place in the bushes near to the skate park in Apex Park on Sunday afternoon (October 29th).
A message posted on social media from an anonymous woman warns people to be extra cautious when using the park.
The post says: “Whilst I was walking along the grass past the skateboard park at Apex, a man in a headset was tucked in closely to a bush pleasuring himself.”
“Myself and an older lady were walking our dogs when we saw him. Of course both horrified, I changed my route as did the lady.”
“I don’t know if he’s still there, but I do know that he’s well hidden from those walking along the concrete path around Apex.”
The woman says the man in the bushes was wearing a dark jacket and bottoms.
Avon and Somerset Police is investigating the incident and anyone with information should call the non-emergency Police number 101.
