Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge families are being encouraged to take part in a free group workout and sports activities at Apex Park this afternoon (Tuesday, March 27th).
1610, who run King Alfred Sports Centre, are organising the Easter holiday event as part of a nationwide campaign called ‘Let’s Move For a Better World’.
“We invite as many of the community as possible to get active at the Apex Park,” said a spokesman.
“Between 2.30-3.30pm we will be hosting a free group workout and activities. It’ll be open to all ages, bring the family along!”
“There will be lots of prizes and goodie bags on offer, so why not come down. There will be a wide variety of things going on, all for ‘Lets Move For A Better World’, a global campaign to get people moving and tackle global inactivity and obesity.”
