Residents of Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge will be able to quiz town councillors about local issues when the 37th Annual Town Meeting will be held this evening (Wednesday, April 7th).
Starting at 7pm in the Old Courthouse in Jaycroft Road, the meeting will be chaired by the Mayor of Burnham and Highbridge Cllr Derick Cooper (pictured).
“This is an open meeting for members of the electorate of the joint parish of Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge to hear reports on the activities of the Town Council over the past year and its aspirations for the coming year,” Town Clerk Eileen Shaw told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The meeting is also an opportunity for electors to raise any matters of concern within the area, and to ask questions about the work of their local council.
A representative from Avon and Somerset Police will also give a report on policing issues in Burnham and Highbridge, and there will also be a short report from Burnham and Highbridge Youth Town Council.
