TV personality Anneka Rice is set to visit Burnham-On-Sea’s BARB hovercraft station today (Wedndesday) as part of the charity’s 25th anniversary celebrations – and local residents can get involved.
Anneka Rice will be filming at the seafront BARB hovercraft station, which she helped to build in 72 hours in 1994, two years after BARB was formed, as featured here.
An ITV spokesman said: “We are currently making a mini series in which Anneka Rice revisits some of her projects from the show Challenge Anneka.”
“This coming Wednesday we are revisiting the BARB hovercraft station on Burnham seafront which Anneka built on her show.”
“In the episode that transmitted in 1994, many people from Burnham-On-Sea were featured.”
Anneka will be at the BARB hovercraft station during Wednesday morning from 11am when local people are welcome to get involved.
