Manager thanked as he leaves Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre

-

The manager of Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre has been thanked on his final day in the job this week.

Andy Pulleyn, pictured, has left the high-profile role to become Marketing Manager of Exeter’s Phoenix Arts Centre and to be nearer his partner on the south coast.

John Holmes, Chairman of The Friends of The Princess, presented him with a gift on behalf of the theatre’s volunteers during a farewell party, as pictured here.

Princess Theatre Chairman Peter Burridge-Clayton told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Andy has done an excellent job during his time at the Princess and I can’t thank him enough for all the effort he has put in over the past two years. He has not only overseen all the refurbishments, but he has also taken the theatre and arts to a level we have never seen before in Burnham.”

Andy added: “I’m really proud of all the new and exciting things that are going on at The Princess. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone I’ve worked with who supported me in the role. I have loved my time here and it will always have a place in my heart.”

A new manager has been selected and is due to start work next week after five people were interviewed.
