A Burnham-On-Sea fire crew was called to tackle a small blaze at a wildlife park near Highbridge last night (Thursday, June 30th).
One fire engine was sent to Alstone Wildlife Park at 8.20pm, as pictured here, after a bonfire had burned out of control.
The park’s Helen Duckett told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The fire seemed to be burning underground and was creeping towards our garages and stables.”
“We were worried it would cause some damage, so were grateful to the fire crews.”
