Fire crews were called to a block of flats in Burnham-On-Sea where a person had become trapped in a lift on Wednesday evening (January 25th).
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at 6.38pm to Allendale Court in Rectory Road in Burnham-On-Sea, as pictured here.
On their arrival, crews confirmed that a lady was stuck in the lift on the ground floor.
Crews rescued the person from the lift using various tools and left the duty of care with the on-site warden.
