A Burnham-On-Sea financial advisor has been awarded a prize for having the best exam paper in the 2010 Chartered Insurance Institute exams.
The award was presented to Alex Turco, 32, from Positive Wealth Creation at a ceremony held by the Insurance Institute of Bristol.
His exam in CF8, long-term care insurance covered all aspects of the provision of long-term care, including the responsibilities of the state, local authorities, state benefits, insurance products, estate planning and legal matters.
Alex said: “I am very pleased to have achieved a mark of 93% in this exam, which was the highest in the west of England area in 2010. As the population grows older providing for long-term care becomes more important. I am delighted to show that the highest quality financial planning services are available locally to both our current and future clients.”
Earlier this year, Alex was awarded the title of ‘Chartered Financial Planner’ from the CII after passing 13 exams in the last decade since completing his degree from Oxford University.
