Schoolchildren and churchgoers from across the Burnham-On-Sea area have donated dozens of gift boxes of Christmas gifts for needy youngsters in Albania.
Pupils from St Andrew’s School, pictured here, are among those who have given more than 90 shoe boxes for less fortunate boys and girls in Albania.
Reverend Steve Ayers from Burnham Baptist Church or co-ordinating the project and set of with a very loaded vehicle and the gifts on Friday for the journey to Albania.
The boxes contain small gifts which the children will be able to unwrap in the run up to Christmas.
Steve said he has been “overwhelmed” by the response across the Burnham-On-Sea area.
