A colourful exhibition of paintings by a local artist was held in Burnham-On-Sea at the weekend.
Alan Ward held his annual display in Burnham’s Community Centre in Berrow Road on both Saturday and Sunday.
“I had around 100 paintings on show, from railway scenes and landscapes to wildlife from across the world,” Alan told Burnham-On-Sea.com at Friday’s opening.
Since Alan has a strong interest in the Somerset and Dorset Railway there were also many paintings of local stations and trains among the scenes being exhibited.
There were also local paintings of Highridge Wharf, Burnham-On-Sea beach, the High Street and other local scenes.
