A man was air-lifted to hospital after suffering neck injuries in a fall at Brean Down on Saturday afternoon (March 8th).
The man slipped and injured himself at Brean Down Caravan Park.
Due to the nature of his injuries, paramedics decided the safest way to get him to hospital was by using a helicopter.
The Devon Air Ambulance was called in and transported the injured man to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol – as these photos show.
The helicopter initially landed in a field next to Brean Down Farm and then glided across to the National Trust Car Park to receive the patient from ambulance crews.
