An air ambulance landed in Burnham-On-Sea on Thursday (July 11th) to help a patient during a medical emergency.
The replacement helicopter for the usual yellow Dorset and Somerset air ambulance, which was being serviced, landed on the Bay Centre playing fields in Cassis Close Road at around 11.30am, as pictured here.
Paramedics onboard assisted an ambulance crew with a patient near The Esplanade and then returned to the aircraft later.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called at 11.24am about an incident at a private address near Burnham seafront. We sent an air ambulance, a land ambulance, and a paramedic to attend.”
