Air ambulance lands on Brean Down to help injured woman after fall

-

The air ambulance landed on top of Brean Down on Thursday afternoon (October 27th) to help a patient after an accident.

The yellow Dorset and Somerset helicopter flew in at lunchtime to help a lady after a fall on Brean Down.

Spokeswoman Tracy Bartrum told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called to help an adult female who’d suffered a fall and injured her ankle. Due to the remote location, the air ambulance was needed.”

The patient was taken to hospital for further treatment.

Brean has been busy this week with holidaymakers during the school half-term holidays.
