Icy side roads in the Burnham-On-Sea area are still proving to be treacherous, almost a week after the main snowfall.
The ungritted, compacted snow has turned into sheet ice, making it incredibly easy for drivers to lose control.
Fortunately, no-one is believed to have been injured in either of these accidents in Highbridge’s Isleport Lane and Pople’s Bow, as captured here by Burnham-On-Sea.com reader Nick Whetstone, but both drivers will face a bill from recovery services to be pulled out.
