Flowers laid in memory of 20-year-old Burnham man killed in crash

-

Bouquets of flowers have been laid at the spot where a 20 year-old Burnham-On-Sea man was fatally injured in a car accident earlier this week.

Flowers and messages of condolence have been left besides the A38 in Highbridge where Jon Puddy, from Berrow Road, suffered multiple injuries in a horrific crash on Sunday night.

Friends and relatives of the former King Alfred School student have left cards, flowers and messages next to the Highbridge sign.

It comes as scores of messages of sympathy have also been left on Jon’s Facebook page.

One states: “You’re going to be well and truly missed. Won’t be the same without you. You’ll always be in our hearts” and another reads: “Even though you’re gone Jon, you will never be forgotten.”

Police are still appealing for witnesses to the accident to come forward. They want to hear from anyone who was in the A38 Huntspill Road area at the time of the collision to contact their Collision Investigation Unit on 0845 456 7000.
