Tributes have been paid to the 20 year-old man who was killed in an accident in Highbridge earlier this week as police repeated their appeal for witnesses to come forward.
Burnham-On-Sea.com reported on Wednesday that Jon Puddy of Berrow Road had died in hospital after suffering multiple injuries in an horrific crash on the A38 on Sunday night.
Friends of the former King Alfred School student have been posting messages of sympathy on his Facebook page.
One states: “You’re going to be well and truly missed. Won’t be the same without you. You’ll always be in our hearts.”
Another adds: “Even though you’re gone Jon, you will never be forgotten.”
On the Facebook page, Jon listed his interests as “fishing, cars and footie” and stated that his favourite TV programmes were “Top Gear, South Park and Family Guy.”
Police are still appealing for witnesses to the accident to come forward.
Signs have been placed at the accident scene appealing for information.
And police say they want to hear from anyone who was in the A38 Huntspill Road area at the time of the collision to contact their Collision Investigation Unit on 0845 456 7000.
