One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash that temporarily closed the A38 on the outskirts of Highbridge on Thursday afternoon (May 9th).
Emergency services were called to the collision at the busy junction of the A38 near Burnham Moor Lane just before 3pm.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called at 3.01pm, and a female patient was transported to hospital.”
Police diverted traffic around the scene, with traffic backing up in both directions. There were also delays on the northbound M5 carriageway as a result.
