The driver of this car was lucky to escape with only minor injuries following a dramatic crash on the A38 near Burnham-On-Sea.
The Vauxhall careered into a fence when the motorist lost control after his car hit a pool of standing water.
Police, fire and ambulance crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to help the driver of the Vauxhall at Pawlett.
A police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were informed by the driver that his vehicle had gone into a verge after he lost control of the vehicle.”
The man was treated at the scene by the ambulance crew for minor injuries.
