Motorcyclist air-lifted to hospital after crash on A38 at West Huntspill

One person was air-lited to hospital following a crash on the A38 outside Highbridge on Friday afternoon (May 16th).

Fire crews from Burnham, Bridgwater and Taunton were sent to West Huntspill where the incident occurred on the A38 near the Wood Pile.

“A motorcycle had been involved in a collision and was stuck was stuck in a ditch,” said a spokesman.

“Crews released the casualty from the ditch and was left in the hands of paramedics that were on scene. His injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.”

The crash – which occurred at 4.30pm – led to delays for motorists in the area.
