One person was hurt in an accident that partially closed the A38 near Burnham-on-Sea on Tuesday evening (July 5th).
Fire engines from Burnham-On-Sea and Bridgwater were called to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on the A38 Bristol Road at Brent Knoll at 4.35pm.
“On arrival the crew confirmed that a male was still within a vehicle medically, not physically, trapped. The crew assisted ambulance with removal of the casualty.”
The incident led to long delays for motorists in the area.
