Ambulance crews treated an elderly man for cuts to his face after an accident near Burnham-On-Sea on Tuesday afternoon (August 4th).
Burnham-On-Sea police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the A370 junction with Lympsham Road after the vehicle collided with a roadside bollard, sending it into the centre of the road, as pictured here.
Police spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Police were called to the scene at 3.32pm after a car collided with a bollard. A man in his 70s was left shaken with cuts to his face and a female passenger who was also in the car was not beleived to have been hurt.”
The Highways Agency was called to prevent an oil leak on the road spreading.
