A38 Brent Knoll crash: Police appeal for information after pedestrian dies

Burnham-On-Sea Police have issued an appeal for information following a fatal accident in which a pedestrian died in a collision with a car on the A38 Bristol Road at Brent Knoll on Tuesday (September 17th).

Police said the man was hit by a passing car on the A38 northbound at around 4am.

The route between the M5 Edithmead roundabout and Brent Knoll was closed for over eight hours to allow the Police’s collision investigation team to carry out their work.

A Police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The pedestrian was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. While formal identification is yet to take place, their next of kin have been informed.”
