Burnham’s Mayor joins pensioner’s 100th birthday celebrations

-

A pensioner from Burnham-On-Sea celebrated her 100th birthday with a special visit from the town’s Mayor on Friday morning (February 11th).

Sandra Rosina Cornish, from Love Lane, received a traditional card from the Queen and a visit by Cllr Michael Clarke during the celebrations.

The Mayor told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “She’s an incredibly spritely lady who does not show her 100 years at all.”

“She thoroughly enjoyed her day and had a constant stream of friends and well-wishers dropping in.”

“I was delighted to make a visit and be part of the celebrations.”
