A Burnham-On-Sea resident has celebrated her 100th birthday this week with a visit by the town crier.
Ruth Groves received a visit from Burnham’s Town Crier Alistair Murray, pictured, to mark her special day.
“Ruth is such a lovely lady and was delighted to have her birthday celebrated with my visit,” Alistair told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
She opened her traditional card from The Queen while family and friends gathered to sing her happy birthday and cut a cake.
