The Met Office has issued a new warning for more high winds in the Burnham-On-Sea area.
Gusts of up to 60mph are likely in our area, say forecasters, with a risk of trees being blown down and other damage.
Strong northwesterly winds are expected in Burnham from 9pm and continuing into the early hours of Wednesday morning.
A spokesman says: “A spell of strong northwesterly winds is expected to develop across southwest Scotland late on Tuesday evening then extend across much of England and Wales through Wednesday. Gusts of up to 50-55 mph are likely inland and 65 mph along western coasts.”
