‘Powerful drama’ about homeless soldier to be performed in Burnham tomorrow

-

Re-ACT Theatre School will be bringing a new drama to Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre this weekend.

The “powerful” new production, called Private Property, has been called to action by the homelessness crisis in the region, says Re:ACT.

The show, on Saturday 6th April at 7.30pm, will follow the journey of a Clifton-born soldier and her rise to the elite and fall from grace.

“Explorations of equality, diversity, and mental illness; the tale is all too common, another number on a spreadsheet, you’re desensitised and now we demand your attention,” says the group.

This production will support a homeless charity with collection points during the performance. It also aims to educate people with an information pack available for youth groups, schools and colleges.

For tickets, priced at £9, see https://princesstheatreburnhamtickets.co.uk/ or call 01278 784464.
