Appeal issued after mother loses engagement ring at Burnham’s Trinity Close Xmas lights

-

A family has issued an appeal for help in finding a lost engagement ring at Burnham-On-Sea’s Trinity Close Christmas lights.

Vicky Lou says her mum has been left “distraught” after losing the ring, pictured above, while visiting the festive lights display on Monday evening (Christmas Eve).

She said: “My lovely Mum lost her engagement ring while taking my little niece around the Christmas lights at Trinity Rise and Trinity Close. Mum and Dad have been married for 40 years so this has huge sentimental importance to her and she’s devastated. We would like to offer a reward to anyone who finds it.”

“We got out of the car in Berrow Road (around no 80) and walked across and down Trinity Rise to Trinity Close. We walked all around and looked at a lot of the lights, and there was a lot of picking up and putting down of my niece for photos.”

“About two hours after we got home, Mum realised it was missing – it was definitely on her finger before we left. My niece was very excited by the lights and we think it might have come off when Mum was trying to make sure she was holding her hand safely.”
