A flood warning is in force along Somerset’s coastline today (Friday) and Saturday.
The Environment Agency has issued the warning due to expected high tides, although it says that winds are forecast to remain light and no large waves are expected.
The agency still says that the tide height may cause some overtopping and onshore flooding in low lying areas.
Flood alerts are in place for Burnham-On-Sea, Portishead, Portbury and Uphill to Kingston Seymour.
