Gilli passed away at Glastonbury community hospital on Saturday 12th October after a mercifully short fight with cancer.
She was Mayoress of Burnham and Highbridge for two years 2005-6.
Before losing mobility, she was an active member of the local Moose fraternity and a regular at a folk club, meeting at The Ritz.
She was housebound for the last few years, but will be remembered by many. The burial will take place at Berrow Cemetery at 11:00 on Monday 4th November.
