The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre offers a wide variety entertainment including regular performances of plays, comedy, live music and dance.

It also plays host to a number of Community groups who meet on a regular basis. If you are looking for a new hobby or activity or just the opportunity to meet new people, have a look at what is on offer.

Cabaret Café bar serves a selection of food, hot & cold drinks and snack options. During evening performances the bar is always open with a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre, is the main venue for arts and entertainment in Burnham on Sea and Highbridge welcoming more than 7000 audience members every year.

Our regular programme of events, shows and talks; produced by professional and community companies is ever expanding, attracting a diverse audience from across the county and beyond.

The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre has a flexible, traditional, proscenium arch, theatre space that can cater for all types of events such as plays, musicals, dance, concerts, comedy and more.

The flexible auditorium has retractable tiered seating meaning it can transform from theatre setup into an open hall with hardwood sprung dance-floor. Three dressing rooms are available that are equipped with mirrors and stage feedback speakers.

Capacity – With tiered seating: 200; Closely seated: 280; Seated at tables: 120; Dancing: 240

Conferences & Meetings

The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre can offer a variety of spaces suitable for meetings, training, classes and other events.

For a small additional cost refreshments and buffet lunches can be provided. We have a data projector available for hire and the use of flip charts and screens can also be requested.
