Sanders is one of the largest garden centres in the South West. Situated at the foot of the picturesque Iron Age Hillfort of Brent Knoll it was built in 2001 with the specific aim of “being the best”, it has been voted Garden Centre of the Year twice since 2004… so obviously the mission is succeeding!

Sanders is within easy reach of the M5 as it is only minutes from Junction 22 (Burnham on Sea) near Brent Knoll
Our core business is, and has always been horticulture and focuses on top quality growing stock, along with a comprehensive range of associated gardening products.
However, we sell a huge variety of other products, including wild bird care, furniture, bbqs and fire pit, garden lighting, giftware, houseplants, kitchenware, books, puzzles, greeting cards, home fragrance, bathroom goods, food, garden features, pots and landscaping materials. Also NEW for 2022 our new and exclusive fashion department!
Also, don’t forget to visit us at Christmas when we have our truly stunning display of decorations, lights and trees, our traditional Christmas Circus on site and breakfast and tea with Santa!!

The Parlour Restaurant
Located at the heart of the garden centre, we pride ourselves on great food and friendly service. Our menus are all about seasonality and a love for food, which is why we use and support local suppliers where we can.
Breakfast is served 9am – 11.30am Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 11.30am on Sunday. We have a great selection from classic breakfasts to the elegant eggs royale or just join us for your morning coffee to get your day started.
Lunch is served 12.00pm – 3pm Monday – Sunday. Why not try our famous Gluten Free Fish and Chips, Ham Egg and chips or our Free-range egg omelettes with a choice of fillings, and our chef specials.
Our Deli options are served from 12pm – 4pm Monday to Saturday and Sunday 12pm – 3pm. We now offer a vast variety of homemade dishes from our Deli counters which include, Quiches, Sausage Rolls, Ploughman's, Caesar Salad, Parmesan-Herb Crusted Chicken Breast, Baguettes, Hot Panini’s, Soup of the day and Baked Potatoes with choice of fillings.
Our Sunday Roasts not only boast great value, but offer succulent slow roasted meats and fresh vegetables. Available on a Sunday from 12pm till 3pm.
Our homemade Patisserie is served daily with delights such as Rich Chocolate Fudge Cake,
Coffee and Walnut cake, Triple Chocolate Brownie, Bakewell and many more.

Kipling Pâtisserie
Sanders is the home of one of our patisseries which features an open kitchen influenced by Rudyard Kipling and his love for cakes.
As a tribute to our namesake, Kipling, our highly trained & experienced pastry chefs have created a Signature Plum Crumble Cake that utilises the same fine ingredients as described by Rudyard in his infamous quote.
Our in-house Chef de pâtisseries believe that pastry is different from cooking because you have to consider the chemistry, beauty and flavour and be in tune with its all sourcing secret and unusual ingredients.
Our pâtisserie range is indeed a little celebration in itself intended to delight and tantalise your palette.
Whether it’s for that long overdue catch up with friends, birthday celebrations or that first hot cup of coffee of the day, there is something for everyone and we are more than happy to cater for any allergies or dietary requirements you may have. We recommend booking in advance for one of our beautiful afternoon tea experiences, which can be done in store, online or over the telephone.
