Howdens was established in 1995 to provide trade customers with kitchens, joinery, and hardware products, which are available from local stock at depots across the UK, France, and Belgium. Starting with just 14 depots, there are now more than 800 locations supporting the trade achieve exceptional results for their customers including the depot at Highbridge.
As a British manufacturer, we were founded on the principle that the business should be worthwhile for all concerned. That includes our customers, the homeowners they serve, the local communities we operate in, local and national charities, our large network of suppliers, our investors, and of course our people.

Howden’s at Highbridge is your local depot to help you choose your dream kitchen, bathrooms, bedroom or office space.
We are a trade only company but we work with local designers, builders and trades people to create the space in your home that you want.
We can work with on a whole projects and renovations form the design stage, all the way to the final completion.
A good starting point is to pop in and meet the team. We can show you some ideas in our dedicated showroom and talk through ideas and solutions to create the design that you want. We have a community of builders and local trades people that we can recommend to carry out your project or we can work with your someone you know.
We also cater for landlords who can also open an account for the maintenance of their properties or holiday lets.

Kitchens
As the UK’s number 1 trade kitchen supplier we provide everything our customers need to complete their kitchen jobs, including worktops, sinks and taps, flooring, appliances, and handles. All our cabinets are manufactured in the UK from sustainable FSC® and PEFC™ certified materials and carry a 25-year guarantee for total peace of mind that they are built to last.
In 2020, we introduced 18 new kitchen ranges, including two new styles, additional colour options for existing ranges, and a new handleless cabinet platform to offer a stylish linear look at an affordable price. This means we have more than 100 kitchen designs to choose from and that can customised for a truly bespoke fit in any home.
Joinery
Our range of joinery products offers our trade customers the same great quality and value as our kitchens. We offer a broad range of internal and external doors, including fire doors, flooring, stair parts, and general joinery items. We sell more than 2.7 million doors each year, which means that 1 in 4 doors sold in the UK is from Howdens.
Fitted Bathrooms
Fitted bathrooms include furniture that can be attached to the floor and wall to provide a place to store toiletries, towels, and other bathroom essentials. They can be pre-assembled for a faster installation, or flat-packed, which is easier for manoeuvring in compact spaces. A neat and tidy room is an easy way to create a soothing space in which to relax and unwind in, and pipework can be concealed within bespoke cupboards to reduce visual clutter and provide plenty of space for keeping personal items out of sight. Discover a selection of framed, simple slab, and integrated designs, each of which comes in a variety of colours and materials to match any interior. A choice of finishes is also available, to help transform a room into an inviting and welcoming space to spend time in.
Home Offices
Often used for household administration, working from home, or as a quiet place to study, a dedicated home office has become a must-have in properties large and small. Keeping distractions to a minimum for focussed activities is the primary goal, although maximising areas to store paperwork and stationery out of sight will set the right mood to concentrate. Cabinetry is the best means to achieve a tidy space, with plenty of colours, finishes, and styles available to shape a unique look.
A sturdy work area is also essential, with counters providing a surface to carry out a variety of tasks from typing emails to completing homework. Making sure a workstation is well-lit, and suitable floorboards are selected to cater to an office chair’s free movement are the final finishing touches to consider when building a home office.
