Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea tackled a car blaze on the M5 motorway last night (Thursday night, May 17th).
The fire service received several calls regarding the vehicle on the southbound carriageway between junction 22 at Burnham and junction 23 at Dunball.
Two fire appliances from Burnham-On-Sea attended at 6.50pm and the crews found slight fire damage to approximately five percent of the engine compartment, with the fire out on arrival. The cause was believed to be accidental.
