Sunday lunch turned into a drama for a Burnham-On-Sea family today (September 12th) when their cooker caught on fire.
Firefighters were called to a house at the junction of Love Lane and St Peter’s Road at 12.45pm, as pictured, after the alarm was raised.
“The food in the cooker had burnt and created a small kitchen blaze,” a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com. “The fire was quickly put out and the kitchen ventilated.”
