A capacity audience crowded into Edithmead’s tiny tin church at the weekend for a Christmas tradition.
The ‘three hamlets service’ saw villagers from Edithmead, Southwick and Watchfield gather for the annual Christmas service of lessons and carols.
Led by Reverend Graham Witts and organist Jenny Groves, local children sang ‘Away in a Manger’ and soloist Henry sang a superb ‘Once in Royal David’s City’.
The special occasion was followed afterwards by mulled wine and homemade mince pies at Watchfield Village Hall.
