Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were called out to Coast Road in Berrow after a report of a fire in a van on Monday afternoon (December 14th).
One appliance from Burnham attended at 2.45pm and the crew found a van with a small fire in the engine compartment.
Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which was accidental.
The van’s engine compartment was 40% damaged by the flames.
