The first of a series of weekly summer markets at Burnham-On-Sea youth centre will begin this Friday (June 7th).
The BAY Centre in Cassis Close is holding the events each Friday morning throughout June and July with profits going towards running costs and improvements at the centre.
Suppliers will be selling bird pet supplies, pound store items and a wide selection of cards, gifts and handicraft stalls.
Trading runs from 09.30am until 1pm each Friday and traders who wish to join the event should call the organiser, BAY Centre Vice-Chair Mike Lang on 07889 815860 to get a reservation form.
Mike told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This is not just a table-top sale. It was put to us that a regular event would attract regular custom. The use of booking forms and advance payment ensures we can, up to a point, fine-tune the mix of stalls to provide a perfect shopping experience.”
“Come and pay us a visit. At the same time on Fridays, we will continue to run our regular UKonline computer classes, and visitors to the centre will be able to view the excellent facilities on offer.”
