National Trust to hold spooky Halloween Brean Down challenge

-

The National Trust is to hold a spooky Halloween challenge on Brean Down on Sunday October 31st.

Its first-ever Brean Down Challenge will be held from 11am until 3pm and will see the trust’s wardens taking the public on a guided walk of the Down.

Helen Keel from the National Trust told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Are you brave enough to take the Brean Down Challenge and face the wicked witch in her ruined fort?”

“The trail will begin by Brean Cove Cafe and will take you on a beautiful one and a half mile walk to the fort.”

“If you follow the map and collect the stamps as you go, you can meet the witch in her spooky ruin and collect your prize.”

She added that there’s no need to book, you just turn up, at the Brean Down Cove cafe, which will be open from 10am until dusk.
