Burnham-On-Sea Coastguards were called to help a struggling windsurfer in the sea on Monday evening (October 18th).
A concerned passer-by contacted Coastguards at 5.26pm after spotting the surfer attempting to get back onto the beach after his sail collapsed.
“The man was cold but otherwise unhurt and managed to get out of his own accord, watched by the team,” a Burnham Coastguard spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
