Members of Burnham-On-Sea’s Rotary Club and Army Cadet Force are working together to make a busy route into the town cleaner and more inviting.
A litter picking sesion was held along Queen’s Drive on Sunday morning and at the same time hundreds of daffodil bulbs were planted along the grass verges.
A spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We collected several bags of rubbish and planted a large number of bulbs provided by Sedgemoor District Council.”
He added: “It was great to have the support of the young members of the Army Cadet Force from the Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Platoon.”
