Dozens of fundraisers pulled on their walking boots and blew up a balloon when they took part in a colourful fundraising event at Highbridge’s Apex Park on Saturday morning (October 23rd).
Over 70 people took part in The Balloon Walk, which was held by Southleigh Kindergarten’s parents and staff to raise cash for Somerset-based Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
“Each of the walkers held a pink balloon and walked around the park’s lakes to raise funds for this worthwhile charity,” one of the organisers, Sandra Hodges, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Despite some heavy rain showers, we had a good turnout and hope to have raised a good sum for the charity.”
