Fire crews were called to tackle a small grass blaze on the M5 motorway near Burnham-On-Sea on Tuesday evening (June 18th).
Two fire engines were sent to the scene at just before 9.15pm.
“Fire Control received numerous calls reporting the grass verge on fire just north of junction 23 of the M5,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Two fire appliances were sent to investigate and crews extinguished two small pockets of fire using a hose reel jet.”
