A new manager has taken over the helm of Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre this week.
Andy Morgan has 16 years of experience in the arts world and says he is excited to take on the role of running Burnham’s theatre following the departure of the former manager earlier in June.
“I have previously worked in a wide range of arts venues across the UK, including Cardiff and London’s Barbican Centre and am delighted to be coming to Burnham,” Andy told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“I am delighted to be taking on this role in Burnham and look forward to taking the Princess to the next stage of its development.”
Peter Burridge-Clayton, Chairman of The Princess, added: “I am delighted to have Andy in place as our new manager. He brings a wealth of experience with him, having worked in some high profile theatres around the country.”
“Andy has many contacts within the arts world and I am sure we will continue to have a great and varied programme of events in the future. I am very excited about working with him and taking the theatre forward.”
The former manager, Andy Pulleyn, left earlier this month to become Marketing Manager of Exeter’s Phoenix Arts Centre and to be nearer his partner on the south coast.
