Over £200 was raised for Burnham-On-Sea Rugby Club on Saturday (October 30th) when young players held a day-long fundraising event.
The youngsters packed the bags of shoppers at Brent Knoll’s Sanders Garden World in return for donations.
The club’s Russell Dyson told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Around 40 youngsters took part to help boost the club’s funds. We need the money for new kit and towards the costs of our club tour in 2012.”
“We had a good response from shoppers, who donated £256, and thank everyone who helped us.”
