A brand new bistro bar and restaurant was officially opened in Burnham-On-Sea on Friday evening (November 5th).
A special launch ceremony was held at TA8s in Pier Street as it opened its doors for the first time following a £6,000 revamp.
Burnham’s Chamber of Trade Chairman Rhonda Mills was the special guest, who cut a ceremonial ribbon to mark the opening of the new business.
Owner Harris Beaumont told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This new bistro is the culmination of two years’ planning. We’re very excited to be open at last and to be offering something different for Burnham – a bar and restaurant in modern, welcoming surroundings.”
TA8s – pronounced Tates – will be specialising in parties for special occasions and will also continue to offer a hot and cold menu during the daytime. Manageress Christine Redman said the new business will offer “good quality food in a welcoming atmosphere.”
Rhonda Mills added that the Chamber of Trade is delighted to support a new business starting in the town and wished it every success.
