Burnham Coastguard man gets on his bike to raise money for RNLI

-

A Burnham-On-Sea Coastguard officer is cycling from Street to Poole later this week to raise funds for the RNLI.

Dave Ilsley, pictured, will be getting on his bike on Saturday (August 5th) to cover the 58 mile route.

He hopes to raise hundreds of pounds for lifeboats across the UK from the sponsored ride.

He said: “I admire all search and rescue people and am keen to do all I can to help them.”

“Many rescue services have the burden of having to raise funds and deserve all the help they can get.”

To sponsor Dave or join him on the ride, call 01278 765 939 or email him.
